Southwick's Zoo

During our last week in Boston the girls and I had a very special chance to meet up with some of Jimmy's family that I had not seen in a long time, and my girls had never met. Since they live in Connecticut and we were staying in the Boston area, we decided to meet at Southwick's Zoo in Franklin.



The girls got to meet their cousins for the first time. From left to right, Robby, Maria and Ariel.



And you can just guess my girls reaction to hearing that they had a cousin with the same name as the Little Mermaid! :)



This is the girl's Aunt Wendy. She and I had a lot to catch up on. And yes, she really does tan that dark- and so would my husband if he could actually relax in the sun.



And the kids started bonding right away :)

We visited the petting zoo where once again, Ryen was like Snow White with the animals just loving her and following her around :)




All the kids had a great time with the animals.

Ryen also had fun meeting her new Uncle Greg and playing hide n seek behind the tree with him!




Ella had fun bonding with the "other" big girls (like her) ;)




We saw lots of interesting animals.




We took a break for ice cream




Then headed to the playground for some fun!






Then it was time to say goodbye to our family so they could head back to Connecticut. This took awhile, lol!










These cuties begged to stay longer to have some little kid fun :) Who could say no????



We had a lot of fun :)
