25 Days of Christmas- St Nicholas Day!

Today is St Nicholas Day! Saint Nicholas Day celebrates the life of Saint Nicholas of Myra, a fourth-century bishop best known today as the real-life model for Santa Claus. So what better way to honor that than to have a Santa Claus themed Christmas activity tonight. We set up letters of gratitude for the girls to write to Santa, some Santa themed books and of course we had St Nick himself watching over them for inspiration.

Ryen loves Santa, wants to buy him a new hat and shoes, is thankful for her Sister, her Mom Dad and the whole World. Ella loves Santa and thinks he is the best, is thankful for her Sister and wants Santa to wake her up so she can see his reindeer. ha ha. Love these kids.



After, the girls got a kick out of our Santa scratch n sniff books. Yes...scratch n sniff.




And lastly, the girls bear houses from Build-A-Bear last night look like frosted Ginger Bread Houses (first time they have had them). And they came with stickers so you can decorate the gingerbread house with "candy". They couldn't wait to decorate them.



They are so cute!! The girls are going to keep coloring in the Gingerbread houses over the next couple weeks.





The girls had a great time and we all had a lot of fun.
