My First TRIATHALON
Ok so about 6 mos ago my friend Sara sent an email out about a Triathlon called Tri For The Cure. This is an all Women's annual Tri every April that raises money for Breast Cancer. Hello? Did I really need any more motivation to get involved? It was a 400 meter swim, an 8 mile bike ride, and a 2.25 mile run to finish it off. We just completed it last week on April 19th! It was SO SO SO much fun! My goal was to finish in 1 hour 30 minutes and I finished in 1 hour 23 minutes! Yeah!!! Here are some photos of the Triathlon.

I loved EVERY minute of it and cant WAIT to do more. I think I might be addicted. If I didn't already have a 60 mile Breast Cancer Walk (Nov) and a half marathon on my plate (Jan) I may just try to squeeze in a few more. We shall see. Jimmy and the girls were waiting for me at the finish line and Ella was screaming "Mommy you ran the race". It was so cute! Anyone want to TRI to join me next April? Take a look at my cool souvenir medal below! =)

Easter back in Boston
Since we were home in Boston for my Sister Lisa's wedding we were able to have Easter with my family for the first time in 5 years. We took some real cute photos of the kids with their Easter Baskets and their egg hunt. Here are some photos: Enjoy!
We were sad we had to miss our neighbor's (The Connors) 3rd annual Easter Egg hunt and Brunch. We look forward to it every year. But luckily some other neighbors had suggested we have a neighborhood Spring Block party with an egg hunt so we did get to have some fun with a few of our close neighbors at that. Here are some photos of that.

Happy Earth Day-Birthday-Anniversary!
Happy Earth Day!
So Today, April 22nd. EARTH DAY! Yeah! Ella and I decided in honor of Earth Day we would buy some planter boxes. Mommy made herself an herb garden and Ella has a new flower garden of her own. Ella LOVES gardening and is always asking me if we can go out in the garden. Below are some photos of her new gear/tools as well as our new planters!! Now I just hope I can actually grow something in them, as I have a black thumb =(
Happy Birthday!
It is also my older sister LISA's 35th Birthday today! WOW! She is such a hugely important person in my life and I have missed her so much while she has been on her honeymoon. Not being able to talk to her for 10 whole days was torture. I didn't realize how much I need her in my life until I couldn't have her. She was the first person I wanted to call when I finished my triathlon and I couldn't reach her. It sucked. I am so happy for her and her hubby Dave and their new life together. Hopefully they will have baby news soon and I cant WAIT to see her morph into a wonderful Mother and to be there to help her welcome her babies into the World! Sob...sob... Here are some photos of me and the Birthday Girl! I am also so thankful that I have the same relationship with my twin sister Lori. I have great Sisters (which is why Ryen's middle name is in honor of them both- LORISSA)
Lastly, Happy Anniversary!
Today is also the day that Jimmy and I were handed the keys to our first home, FIVE years ago! I can not believe five years went by so fast. Seems like I moved here just last year. We still love Arizona as much as when we first moved here, if not more. In celebration of our five years we decided to do a face lift to the outside of the house. Here are a few photos of our house and how it has changed in five years... besides the addition of two children that is ;-) AND it took me FIVE years but I finally convinced one of my family members to move out here too! My Twin Sister Lori and her daughter Olivia and Boyfriend David will be joining us in Sunny Beautiful AZ this JUNE! WOO HOO! (Before photos on left after photos on right)

Drum Roll Please...
So.. my sister's wedding was this past weekend and I had some lofty baby weight loss goals in order to get ready for this day. For those of you have been keeping track of my progress, keeping me HONEST and keeping me motivated this update is for you. You may remember my goal was to fit into my size 8 bridesmaid dress by the wedding. Not only did I fit into it but I actually ended up downsizing to a SIZE 6! So YES I did hit my goals! Yeah! I still have a ways to go till I am satisfied with my body fat and overall health, but at least I know now how to get there and can only get even healthier from here...
Lisa and Dave's wedding was at Indian Pond Country Club in Kingston, MA. There was a cool photo booth where you could take photos as momentos and a candy bar to make some sweet treats to take with you... We had so much fun and there are some great photos below that I am proud to show of my family and friends having a blast!
There are two photos, I am NOT proud to show off, but here they are anyway... I apparently should have been shut off by the bartenders about 5 drinks before I left, because I was so tipsy (which is putting it mildly) and it was raining and I had on 5 inch heels. Anyhow I ended up falling while trying to get in the shuttle to the hotel and I crashed down on my shin and knee. My shin is more blue and yellow every day and hurts to put weight on it for the first few days, and my knee has an ugly purple bruise! Here are my battle wounds! =( I just hope they are healed before my Triathlon this weekend! What the HECK was I thinking?????
My sister's wedding was right down the road from where Jimmy and I got married, almost 5 Years ago, which is historic Plymouth MA! So we thought it would be fun to bring the girls to Plymouth to see where our family was "officially" started. We had lunch at Isaac's (the place where Jimmy and I held our rehearsal dinner), and we walked the main street, looked at the boats, and visited the Mayflower and Plymouth Rock (which you will see by the photos below... really is just a big rock). Here are some photos! Enjoy...
