Holy Halloween Festivities!

This was such a busy week for us! There were so many Halloween events and festivities, and of course lots of photos to share.

Tuesday we went to a Halloween party at our friends Kim and Kendall's house. Kim went all out for us and had craft items real cool decorations, goody bags etc! It was so much fun! Here are some cute photos! Ella was a Fem-bot and Ryen was a kitty cat with only half her face painted cause she would NOT cooperate! LOL You have no idea how hard it was to get this group shot of all the kids!

Thursday I took the girls to a Pumpkin Patch so we could buy another pumpkin for Daddy (for seeds) and take some cute photos:

Friday our friends Christa, Tula and Maverick had us over for their FIRST annual (and turns out their last) Halloween party. (private joke- ha ha). This time Ella was Minnie Mouse and Ryen just wore Halloween clothes. Ella loved the trampoline and Ryen couldn't stop climbing up on tables. I made spooky popcorn hands and they were a hit.

Saturday Ella had a belly ache. So we left her home with Daddy and I took Ryen to Whole Foods this morning to paint a pumpkin and eat yummy cookies and ghoulish lemonade! Here are some photos.

Then I took her to Michaels where we had some more fun! We made spooky silly pencils with cool toppers. Then we made a cool spider magnet. After we colored with markers (she was more eating the markers than coloring). And then the BEST part! We got lollipops and balloons on the way out! She thought the lollipop was the best thing she had ever experienced!

Later it was time for our annual neighborhood pot luck and trick or treating. Ryen was a bumble bee and Ella was Tinkerbell! Mommy even got in on the fun and dressed as Queen Bee to match my Baby Bee! Aww...

I was kind of bummed that Ella's hair came out GREEN since I clearly bought bright yellow hair spray paint. She was supposed to be blonde like Tinkerbell. But she didn't care she just kept saying the green matched her dress (which it DID perfect) so I let it go =( Hee hee

Can't wait for next year! But I am T-I-R-E-D from this past week. And now this week kicks off three birthday celebrations for Ella... Uggh!!!

'Cuz it's Ladies Night...

I have had TWO weekends in a row where I have had a Girls Night Out! Holy Cow! That is pretty rare. The first was with my neighbors to celebrate my friend Jackie's Birthday, which is the same as Ryen's October 3rd! Yeah...

Last Saturday we had dinner at Buca Di Beppo. We ate tons of yummy food family style. Woot Woot! Then went over to SandBar. The new Scottsdale like hot spot located right here in Chandler. We danced on a way over hot dance floor with no AC or ceiling fans and sweated our butts off! But it was fun to let loose a little. Here are some photos (PS- they look blurry on the blog until you click on them and then open up perfect)

This past Friday night our friend Adrianna who had been out of town for the last 2 months, decided to come back to town and surprise us all. Of course this merited another girls night. This time we went to dinner at Z Tejas. We had a great dinner and yummy drinks! We took some cute photos at dinner and even had a moment where I pretended to be a photographer shooting models at a photoshoot. Susan and Sue were good sports and played the part real well! Here are the pics of dinner and our "shoot"! I have one word HILARIOUS!!!!!!!

We continued the night at Graham Central Station in Tempe. We had a ridiculous amount of fun!! We bounced around from hip hop rooms to country rooms, karaoke and even an eighties room. The eighties room came complete with some guy who stood next to the dance floor with feathered hair, acid wash tight jeans up to his nipples and a tucked in t-shirt. He was there by himself but didn't care cause he was reliving his glory days. We ended up pretending like we were extras in some whitesnake videos. To say we owned the dance the floor is an understatement! For once we didn't care who was looking or what people thought. We just had a blast! LMAO!

Our very busy Birthdays Saturday!

Last Saturday was super busy for us. We went out to breakfast as a family in the morning, then headed to the Chandler Day of Play. (photos in the post below) We then had two kid birthday parties and one Mommy only Ladies only birthday celebration! Woot Wooot! Here are some cute photos of our birthday celebrations!

Also, Mr. Pumpkin Heads were a big hit with the neighborhood kids this year. Ella and I got to decorate 3 faces and then we let the neighborhood kids decorate the backsides. Here are some photos of our cool pumpkins!
