Happy 40th Crissy

Great neighbors are a great thing to have. And seems more and more people today move into homes where their neighbors are never out, not social. Never leave their homes or pause in the driveway long enough to chit chat. They pull in the neighborhood, pull into their garage and close it behind them and that is that. Luckily that is not the case where I live. We have 10 or so families in this neighborhood that have become very good friends. Our husbands are buds, our children are buds and we all get together at least once a month and pile into one of our homes for an evening.

One of our neighbors, Crissy, turned 40 in early January and so it was only fitting that her husband invited us all to gather at their home for a party. Here is the birthday girl!



We hung outside for a bit and listened to some live music for a bit...





then we moved the party and the live music indoors when it got a little too cold and little loud for the neighbors with sleeping babies. ;)




And I am sure Mike and Crissy weren't the least bit uncomfortable with having a slow dance with all of us staring and smiling at them... ha ha




but at least people joined them...



... and boy did we join them!! LOL








We had such a great time and we are so fortunate to have such a great community and great neighbors that have become some of our best friends. :) Happy Birthday Crissy!!
